Join this four-day course in Birmingham with a guaranteed interview for a twelve-week paid placement as a Trainee Healthcare Assistant.

This course is tailored to equip you with the necessary skills to secure a Trainee Healthcare Assistant placement. This encompasses:

  • In-depth understanding of the Healthcare Assistant role

  • Employability skills and support offered by The King's Trust

  • Ability to start a 12-week paid placement as Healthcare Assistant Trainee

  • Flexible employment options of Full and Part time positions for Healthcare Assistant roles following successful completion of 12 week paid placement

  • £20,000 per annum pro rata starting salary

  • Access training and work towards NHS Care Certificates

  • Receive personalized 1:1 support from our specialist team throughout the entire process

  • You must be 18 to 30-years-old

  • You must have the the right to work in the UK

  • You must live in Birmingham or Solihull

  • You must not currently be in education, employment or training. This course requires full-time commitment.

Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)

There are 30 different Healthcare Support Worker roles you can choose from in seven areas of the NHS, including mental health, primary care, maternity, and children’s services. For example, you could be dietic assistant helping patients with nutrition or prosthetic technician helping patients become more mobile. All these roles help improve the lives of others. This entry-level role is an integral part of becoming a nurse and can lead to many career opportunities.
