Jobs
There are more roles in healthcare than just doctors and nurses. There are over 350 jobs available in the NHS alone, including medical and non-medical roles, and many require no qualifications or prior experience. The Trust will support you to find the right job for you, or enroll you in a course to develop your skills.
Once you get your foot in the door, it's a sector that can take you anywhere. There's great career progression from every job level and every role makes a difference to people's lives. The sector is also a stable one - we will always need health and social care workers - and you can depend on that regardless of what is happening elsewhere.
There really is no limit to where healthcare and social care can take you. Choose a job where you make a difference every day.
"I was interested in working in the sector as a teenager but didn’t receive the grades I needed to study medicine. Taking part in the course piqued that interest for me again and was the perfect way for me to begin my career in healthcare."Chumporn
